A beautiful smile makes a dynamic first impression; our dental and orthodontics services are among the finest in the region.

Proper treatment is possible with proper diagnosis. The Sirona C4+ Intra Oral Camera uses a pen-like wand to capture and magnify specific areas of the mouth, allowing dentists to diagnose problems and offer the right treatment.

We offer Teeth Whitening that is safe and works faster than many other treatment procedures. It uses a peroxide gel that is optimized to obtain maximal whitening effect. The gel is used by illuminating all smile teeth at once.

Dental phobia has to be nipped in the bud, and our doctors take all the care to help children be comfortable with check-ups and treatment. The environment is child-friendly so that children relax and forego their fear.

Now there are more reasons to smile!

Orthodontics

It has been a traditional misconception that only children are suitable for orthodontics treatment. While it is recommended that a person should receive orthodontics screening at no later then 13 years old, many adults undergo orthodontics treatment later on in life for aesthetics reasons.

Depending on the complexity of a person’s condition, active comprehensive treatment for adults can be completed in one to two years.

Types of Braces

Labial (visible) braces comes in stainless steel and ceramic. To spice up their appearance, you can choose the colour of the modules (small rubber bands that tie the wire to the brackets) at every visit.

Self-ligating braces are also labial but do not require the use of modules. These braces are said to be more comfortable and are easier on patients in terms of oral hygiene.

Lingual braces are metal braces placed behind the teeth, so they are fairly invisible. Another type of invisible braces, known as Invisalign, is clear and removable.

Q: Why should I go for dental checkups once a year?
A:
Dental checkups help you spot dental decays or other dental problems at an early stage so that you can get yourself treated promptly.

Q: Why should old fillings be changed?
A:
Old fillings might leak or give way and this might lead to further decay, which is why old fillings should be checked once a year and changed if they leak or collapse.

Q: I have many amalgam (grey) fillings and they make my smile look unattractive. What should I do?
A:
You could opt for tooth-colored fillings or crowns that cover the portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line. Your doctor will be able to say if you are a good candidate for a tooth-colored filling or a crown.

Q: I am terrified of dentists. What should I do?
A:
Dentists have become more aware of dental phobia, which is why many dentists try to let their patient be as comfortable as possible. Your dentist will also inform you about your problems and the treatment you need, as increased awareness makes one less fearful and more relaxed. Make sure you choose a good dentist who can help you get rid of dental phobia.

Q: My teeth are very yellow. What should I do?
A:
Teeth-whitening has become very common these days though you should be careful about using over-the-counter products, as these may cause undesirable results. A qualified dentist will be able to guide you.

Q: How long will it take for me to get a crown fitted?
A:
With CEREC technology, dentists can fit a crown in a single appointment instead of taking two or three sessions.

Q: Will it be painful?
A:
CEREC technology enables dentists to fit crowns with less drilling and injections, which translates into less discomfort for patients.

Q: I need to get a few teeth extracted. What should I do to maintain my appearance?
A:
Bridges or implants are the best ways to restore natural appearance. Approach a qualified dentist to see what might suit you most.

Q: What should I do to prevent tooth decay or gum diseases?
A:
Refrain from eating sugary snacks and more importantly, maintain good oral hygiene. Good oral care includes brushing your teeth twice a day every day, flossing them once a day and using a good fluoride mouthwash. Regular dental checkups are very important too.

Q: When should I start checkups for my child?
A:
Your child should start seeing a dentist by the time he or she reaches 18 months of age. This will help control dental phobia and correct any oral problems he or she may have.
